Best CPU for gaming PC under 50000 INR: Ryzen 5 3500 (3rd Gen)

Socket | AM4 |
Architecture | Zen 2 |
Process | TSMC 7nm |
Cores | 6 |
Threads | 6 |

Our CPU choice is an easy one. The Ryzen 5 3500 is a bit of a curious case. It was originally only released for the Chinese OEM market and was then subsequently found across the Asia-Pacific market. It won’t be making inroads into the Western markets, though. Looks like AMD doesn’t want to eat away at the Ryzen 3600’s market in the West. Nevertheless, we here in India can buy this CPU easily. One drawback is that this CPU lacks Hyperthreading. Thus, while this is a great gaming CPU, it may lose out on the productivity front.
The Ryzen 5 3500 matches the Ryzen 5 3600 in most games and beats out its Team Blue competitor – the i5 9400F – in a majority of game titles, including CS:GO!

Nvidia’s GTX 1660 6GB is currently the king of lower mid-range GPUs. It wins narrowly against its main competitor in its price point – AMD’s RX590. The GTX 1660 is a 1080p powerhouse – it runs any game you throw at it at excellent FPS rates on High to Ultra settings. Coming in under the 18,000 INR price point, this is the best GPU for a gaming PC build under 50000 INR.
